MINIMOD is a refined example of prefabricated cargotecture, demonstrating how modular design can blend seamlessly with nature. Build Method
Built using modular prefabrication techniques, MINIMOD is composed of a series of shipping container-inspired units that are factory-assembled and then transported to the site. This approach minimises environmental impact, reduces construction waste, and ensures high-quality craftsmanship.
The structure is clad in a combination of weathered steel and timber panels, allowing it to harmonise with its natural surroundings. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glass openings create a strong visual and physical connection with the outdoors while maximising natural light. The interior features warm wooden finishes, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere that contrasts with the industrial aesthetic of the exterior.
